Letters be gone!

For some strange reason my Windows decided to try a revolutionary way of conveying information. Instead of using a set of 26+ characters, and some graphical elements, it has decided that an underscore (_), or more of them (and sometimes just nothingness) were enough. It seems, it was experimenting with readibility, and left some messages intact, as a control group, to test which way of representing information is better.
The image shows the Hungarian interface of Blogger, with underscores, spaces, and letters representing information. The test was broader though than simply the browser window, it included other windows, as well as input areas.
